A Helping Hand

It's that time of year - we have the tree up, lights a-sparklin', and our stockings are hung as we finish up the last of Thanksgiving leftovers.

Though we're all usually excited for what we receive at this time of year, it's an even better feeling in giving back to those in our community less fortunate.

Richmond's favorite winter celebration, lighting up the James Center's holiday decorations, will be your chance to register with us to win tickets to Gaylord National's Shrek The Halls ice exhibit while enjoying the Radio Disney experience! Event begins around 5pm, and lasts until about 7pm - dress warm.

 

- Tomorrow (Dec. 1, 2012): Festival of Giving
Radio Disney and Haley Buick GMC have teamed up to provide a festival for the whole family. The official non-profits benefiting from your donations will be FeedMore, American Red Cross, and Toys-For-Tots. Not only will there be games and activities from Radio Disney, we'll also be drawing the winner of the Gaylord National Shrek The Halls ice exhibit tickets! Event starts at 1pm and goes until about 4pm.

- Until Dec. 7th: WRVA Coats for Veterans
The US military serves this country, and each veteran is a hero in their own right. However, a large portion of the homeless population are our veterans. Help serve who've served us, and donate warm clothing items! Haley Buick GMC  has partnered with 1140AM WRVA to become a drop-off location for new or gently used warm coats, hats, and gloves; and also for new boots and socks.
